Gaia's Bio

Gaia Masetti, an energetic Italian cyclist, joined the team in 2022, driven by a lifelong passion for cycling ignited by her father. Since winning her first race at the age of six, cycling has been her life's ambition. After completing her studies in quality control, she resolutely took the step towards a professional cycling career.

Gaia is known as a versatile cyclist with a particular ability in short climbs and sprints, while also performing strongly on flat courses. Her ambition is focused on improving her performances in the northern classics, aiming to become the best cyclist she can be.

Besides her professional ambitions, Gaia enjoys the simple things in life, such as eating pizza and ice cream. Music also plays an important role during her rides; her carefully compiled Spotify playlist with motivational songs is her constant companion.
