Ilse triumphs in Hilversum

Ilse Pluimers shone during the thirteenth edition of the Janet Memorial Cyclocross in Hilversum.
On the historic Anna's Hoeve course, renowned for its long-standing tradition, Ilse outperformed her competitors with a time of 47 minutes and 55 seconds after completing six laps. Lorena Wiebes claimed the second spot just 50 seconds later, finishing with a time of 48 minutes and 45 seconds, while Rosa van Doorn secured the third position with a time of 48 minutes and 46 seconds, closely trailing Lorena Wiebes.
Ilse's recent victory follows her success last weekend, where she secured the first and second podium positions in the Dutch cyclocross races in Nijverdal and Almelo.
After her win, Ilse enthusiastically added: "This cyclocross went really well today. My start was strong, and initially, I thought I would take it easy, considering my experience in previous races where I faced challenges. However, it went so well that I took the lead from Lorena Wiebes and then continued to widen the gap. This morning, it felt like I could go on endlessly, even if I had to do two more laps, it wouldn't have been a problem. We had to complete six laps, and it was actually my best performance so far. It's nice to see that I can continually improve my endurance."
