Ready for the Tour de Romandie

The second edition of the Tour de Romandie, the final race on the calendar for the AG Insurance - Soudal Quick-Step elite riders, is just around the corner. Led by Ashleigh Moolman Pasio, who claimed the victory at the inaugural edition in 2022, our team - featuring also Mireia Benito, Julia Borgström, Justine Ghekiere, and Anya Louw - is aiming for a new overall win.
Over three days, our riders will tackle challenging climbs on Swiss terrain, starting in Yverdons-les-Bains, including overcoming obstacles like Les Mosses and Torgon, all leading up to the battle for the overall victory in Nyon.
“I am really looking forward to the Tour of Romandy. It was a truly special race for me last season, marking my first World Tour victory after a challenging year. This year, it feels different, and I am thrilled to be part of the AG Insurance - Soudal Quick-Step team. I have full confidence in the fantastic team supporting me in defending my title, and I am excited to start with the number one jersey. I am in good shape and ready to fight for the win alongside my teammates.”
“The race follows a similar format to last year, spanning three days with a rolling course, a challenging mountain-top finish on the second day which is considered the queen stage, and another rolling stage on the last day. Although the courses have some differences, and the mountain-top finish varies, I have thoroughly prepared for the race. We have great tools at our disposal, which allowed me to study the course extensively, even though I couldn't physically recon the climbs. The Plouay race, earlier this month, gave me confidence in my form so I am going to give it my best”, said our team leader Ashleigh Moolman Pasio.
