Senne's bio

Senne joined the U23 team through the junior team. This is her second year as an elite rider. Last season she was already able to test at the highest level and she rode Paris-Roubaix. It will come as no surprise that it isalso her dream race to win one day because Senne calls her parents her role models.

“I started cycling when I was nine years old,” says Senne. “The sport attracts me because it gives me such a huge sense of freedom. I also visit the most beautiful places.”

Senne, who will start studying psychology in September, is a social cyclist with an open personality. She is always cheerful within the team. Besides cycling, she likes to meet up with friends or go for a walk with dog Ollie. She sees herself as a female counterpart to super-domestic Tim Declercq.

“I want to become the best version of myself,” says Senne. “I think it's great to win together as a team and hope we can do that again this year. If that doesn't work, I want to keep growing as a person and do things that make me happy. As long as I feel happy on the bike, those results will come.”
